Robert Cypher concentrates his practice on the trial and defense of various  matters, to include medical malpractice, toxic torts, premises liability, professional liability, automobile cases, asbestos defense, and many others. During the course of his career, he has tried approximately 100 cases to verdict.

Bob graduated from Fairfield University and Fordham Law School. He served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps, retiring after 21 years of service, and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. Bob was elected to the Rye City Council, where he currently serves as the part-time city judge. He is also an adjunct professor in the Interdisciplinary Studies Department at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, teaching a course on “Ethics and the Law.”
